If you need to add an aircraft that is not already in the database, please use the following guidelines:

Registrations should be entered as displayed on the aircraft, e.g. G-ABCD or N12ABC. PilotLog will attempt to correctly format registrations with missing hyphens or added spaces, but typing the registration correctly ensures the most reliable results.

Consistency is important. To ensure that your hours totals on each aircraft type display correctly, you should use the same format for new aircraft as used for ones already in the database. We recommend searching for similar aircraft and copying the format for the new aircraft.

You can edit the details for an aircraft that you added yourself before it is confirmed by MJICCS. Unconfirmed aircraft are highlighted in green. Once confirmed, aircraft cannot be edited except by us to ensure consistency. If you find or suspect an error in any aircraft that you cannot edit yourself, please contact us and we will investigate and rectify the problem.
